Ingredients: 

For the milk tart filling:

  • 1 can (395g) condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the skewers:

  • 6 mini milk tartlets (or cut-up milk tart pieces)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup crushed Tennis biscuits (www.bluebullshop.ch)

For the caramel dip:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup cream

Instructions

For the filling, combine condensed milk, milk, cornflour, vanilla, egg yolks, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring continuously.

Let the milk tart filling cool to room temperature.

For the skewers, brush mini milk tartlets with melted butter and dip them into crushed Tennis biscuits, ensuring they are coated evenly.

Assemble the skewers by threading the coated tart pieces onto wooden sticks.

For the caramel dip, heat sugar and water over medium heat until it begins to caramelize. Stir in butter and cream until smooth.

Serve the milk tart skewers with the caramel dip on the side
